Envaflex, the Armando Alvarez Group's flexible packaging printing and laminating company, has decided to mark a significant milestone in its history by unveiling a revamped corporate image and a completely redesigned website. The transformation aims to reflect Envaflex's constant evolution and commitment to excellence in all aspects of its operations.
We are thrilled to announce that we at Grupo Armando Alvarez have been awarded the prestigious "Outstanding Social Commitment Policy Award" in recognition of our tireless efforts in promoting the welfare and improvement of the community of Cantabria. This prestigious award was presented by CEOE-CEPYME during an outstanding ceremony held yesterday 9th November.
At Grupo Armando Alvarez we are carbon neutral and committed to a sustainable future, taking significant steps to reduce and offset our carbon emissions in all our operations. To this end, we calculate our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, we incorporate renewable energy in 100% of our activities, we are committed to a circular economy model and we reduce, reuse and recycle. In addition, we carry out offset projects thanks to the forestry activities of our company, Alvarez Forestal.
The agricultural sector joins once again to celebrate the solidarity campaign "Wrap it up in pink" which was launched in 2018 and has reached a significant achievement of 15,000 € in its fifth edition, 2022. ASPLA is proud to contribute with this campaign to research in the fight against breast cancer, with an accumulated figure of donations amounting to €60,000.
These innovative greenhouse covers feature the advanced Iyris® technology, developed by RedSea, which allows greenhouse temperature control and is incorporated into the 100% recyclable covers produced by Armando Alvarez Group, saving water and energy as well as improving crop profitability in high temperature areas.
On September 22nd, we will be present at the Job Fair organized by the City Council of Santander together with the University of Cantabria-COIE, which will take place at the Palacio de Exposiciones de Santander.

Armando Alvarez Group celebrates having received from the Spanish Association of Plastics Industry (ANAIP, for its acronym in English), the Spanish and Sustainable Plastics Industry seal in the category of Excellence, which has been officially presented today June 5, 2023, on the occasion of the World Environment Day. This seal, a certification mark registered at EU level, recognises the work and commitment of the companies that make up the plastics sector in the interests of sustainability.
