CPP

Cast Polypropylene films are one of the products with the brightest future, given the challenge of providing food packaging that is fully recyclable. Its rigidity, excellent optics and seal have led it to become one of the market’s main options.

Our 5-layer CPP films can be used in multiple lamination applications, as well as for mono-layer bags. The technical team is working on personalized solutions, adapted to the client’s requirements, focusing on high performance and on 100% single-material containers.

Lamination

CPP has become an essential component of the latest-generation laminates, especially in those where the goal is a PP single-material 100% recyclable substrate.

Our portfolio includes a wide range of formulas that allow us to include the many packaging options that use Cast PP. Its sealing and rigidity properties and excellent optical features make CPP one of the options favored by the most demanding packing lines on the market.

Its high thermal resistance properties, for pasteurizing and sterilizing, for example, make it an essential material for autoclave packaging.

“Low and ultra-low” sealing temperature range

Films designed for high-speed machines.

Designed as an alternative to non-recyclable laminates.

Sealing range 85°C – 150°C.

Excellent gloss and transparency.

Versions: Clear, anti-fog and in white.

Gama Retort Pouch – Tapa

Films for PP tray and “Retort Pouch” covers.

Designed for 2, 3 and 4-material complexes.

Bag

Thanks to its combination of optical and mechanical properties, CPP film has grown exponentially in recent years in the single-material bag packaging segment (wicket-type bag, textile bag…).

The bag market has specialized in high-performance lines, demanding from CPP film a high mechanical resistance and speed in processing. The bag range meets these demands with full seals, high mechanical resistance and even withstanding freezing conditions.

Wicket range

Films designed for machines with a high production rate and speed.

Excellent gloss and transparency properties.

Resistance to freezing processes.

Versions: Clear and white.

Bag range

Films designed for traditional applications packaging textiles, flowers.

High rigidity.

Excellent gloss and transparency properties.

Versions: Clear and white.

Office

CPP film is commonly used in various applications for office products. CPP has replaced PVC in applications such as book liners, document folders, CD and DVD covers.

Book liner range

Films designed to line book covers.

Excellent gloss and transparency properties.

Very pliable.

DVD range

Films designed to convert CD covers and DVD box protectors.

Medical

CPP film is used in the sterilization of surgical instruments in the healthcare industry.

CPP must seal and cleanly peel off of the technical paper, while it must also withstand the necessary sterilization process without losing any of its properties.

  • Designed to be laminated to PET and placed against technical paper in the sterilization pouches.

  • Excellent processing capability, withstanding steam sterilization and ethylene oxide sterilization.

  • Highly resistant to perforation.

  • Peels cleanly off of paper.

  • Versions: Clear and blue.
